Carman Lee – Trainee Solicitor

Carman graduated from the University of Leicester with an LLB degree in Law, before completing the Legal Practice Course and gaining an LLM degree in International Legal Practice at the University of Law, in London.

Carman is a trainee solicitor, and she has gained valuable insights into the legal profession through working with solicitors, litigators and adjudicators in London, Hong Kong and Shanghai. Carman specialises in property and private client related matters and also has practical experience of working on high-profile, contentious court cases and complex business ethics and anti-corruption matters. Carman is able to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients, and has acted as the point of contact with both clients and developers in property matters. She is passionate about all that she does and is a firm believer in learning not only the technical skills, but also those relating to business, communication and problem solving, which are required to become a strong, commercially-minded lawyer. Being fully trilingual (in English, Cantonese and Mandarin) facilitates Carman’s efficient delivery of service to clients.

Outside of the office, Carman is an avid foodie and fitness enthusiast, having represented the University of Leicester’s basketball A team throughout her studies. Carman also harbours an interest in literature, fashion and exploring new places.
